Forum Shopping festival -September 22 nd, 2006
Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts was performing at the central atrium at the Forum Shopping Mall during the Forum Shopping festival from September 22 nd, 2006.
This was an extremely unconventional performance, custom made for the specific venue, the atrium at the Forum. A performance venue creates in your mind a space, a limited boundary --- but what the dancers of Attakkalari do is remove all boundaries and re define space --- space is not confined, it is not tangible, it is transformed by the movement. The movement itself is beyond limits. Movement dynamics and gravity are re invented and re created by the physical performance.
